30% of U.S. Mobile Users Have Fake Call

Some 30 percent of the adult population (18-29 years) in the U.S. claimed to have faked the call in order to avoid contact with others.
 
Thus the results of the latest survey from the Pew Internet and American Life Project, as quoted by Mashable, Wednesday (17/08/2011).
 
This finding further confirms how dependent a person with their handheld devices. Based on these reports, as many as 42 percent of the adult population said they had difficulty completing a task for not holding their phones.
 
Meanwhile, the majority of the population aged 18 to 49 years claimed to use their cell phones as entertainment devices so as not to get bored.
 
However, it does not mean the U.S. population wants to be connected with their mobile phones. Almost a third of respondents said they sometimes turn off the phone for a while in order to rest. This applies for users of smartphones and feature phones.
 
This survey was conducted to determine differences in the character of users of smartphones and feature phone users. That is how they interact with their devices, as well as demographic differences of each type of phone.
 
Some of the most common activities undertaken smartphone and feature phone users, including instant messaging and taking photos. For smartphone users, accessing the Internet is the main reason they use these devices.
 
Other activities that often do owners of smartphones including the sending and receiving emails, playing games and downloading applications. In addition, the smartphone also often used to find information that urgent
