Customer Data Stolen, Korean EPSON Website burglarized by Hacker

CALIFORNIA - Epson Korea recently been exposed to massive hack attack, which leaked the information data from approximately 350 thousand registered customers.

As quoted from Naked Security, Monday (08/22/2011), hackers into the network system Epson Korea, and leaked the information, including passwords, telephone numbers, names and email addresses of customers who enrolled in the enterprise.

A warning message has been posted on the site Epson Korea, and computers are affected by these attacks are advised to change their passwords as soon as possible.

According to observers, the hackers will use the information they steal to attack the Epson customers, through malware or phishing attacks.
