Not flying carpets like in the movie story of 1001 nights, but the carpet and popularly known as "Allawan" only gives the sensation of flying in people who sit on it.
They put carpet on top of the box with a special mirror system so that when viewed looks like a flying carpet.
"We get this effect after doing lots of experiments with mirrors and other equipment," said Kamil Laszuk, one of the student researchers.
"You can use it to seat several people, lounger, footrest and table," said Laszuk.
Carpets can be placed anywhere, from living room to relax up Sahara desert to style as if in flight.
According Laszuk, the same trick can also be applied to other home furnishings that will create more flying furniture. "We believe no one has discovered this effect and use in the design of furniture except for us," said Laszuk
