The Heartbeat Becomes an Electronic Power

Life in the future, maybe the world has advanced with the technological sophistication. In fact, the music player gadget owners don't  worry anymore if the battery runs out in the middle of the road. It has been closer to reality because recently, a group of scientists has discovered a small chip that can generate electricity from natural human movement. Therefore, as long as breathing and heart beats, the music player was guaranteed to remain lit.

Hopefully, these findings will generate a device that could make the human heartbeat, to supply a variety of gadgets as its power source. The discovery was made by several scientists from the Georgia Institute of Technology. They take advantage of Zinc Oxide nano wires, to generate electricity. Theoretically, every body's slightest movement, even pinch a finger, can be used generate electricity.

So far, research led by Dr. Zhong Lin Wang has succeeded in using technology that can transmit radio signals and turn on the LCD display, as well as diodes in the circuit. But Wang cs sure, this research will be further developed. The findings of Wang et a thousand times better than research carried out on the technology of motion, previously. It uses the nano wires (nanowires) whose size is 500 times thinner than a human hair.

In one experiment, five nanoscale wires that can generate power equivalent to two 3-volt battery capacity, and one micro ampere. With compile them in one stack, nano wires that can supply power to electronic devices that are bigger, like gadgets such as iPods or cell phones. It is hoped this invention can also be applied in a variety of other applications on the device that requires electrical power for longer.
